My Career

Hello! I am an integrated marketing communications professional and corporate storyteller with over 12 years of experience developing communications strategies in high-growth SaaS, B2B, as well as agencies and nonprofit organizations. My background in corporate communications, brand strategy, and marketing analytics have combined to help dozens of organizations to develop a unified brand across platforms, products, and audiences. From concept to execution, I am adept at building consensus on messaging, positioning, and integrated strategies to help organizations grow.  

Strategic Planning as a Chief of Staff

My role in steering Bonterra’s go-to-market efforts was all about helping teams collaborate their planning efforts and create value for our customers. I helped teams across multiple segments in the non-profit sector to use Bonterra's SaaS products to do good work better. 


Becoming an Executive


At, I helped to develop and convey a brand narrative for that is clear, compelling and consistent across all functions and in all 23 countries where we operate to inspire desired actions among all key stakeholders. Manage risk reduction and increased brand reputation by moving key stakeholders from awareness to understanding to relationships to affinity. Titles in my three years went from Email Marketing Manager to Director, Corporate Brand Management and Vice President of the Staff Board.

Learning Government Comms

As a Senior Associate of Marketing Strategy and Analysis, I supported the overall communications strategy of an Institute within the Department of Health and Human Services agency and play a key role in the tactical execution of strategic plans. In addition to marketing expertise, I worked in a general consulting capacity in the areas of strategic consulting, project facilitation, content development, and reporting.


Managing Multiple Brands

As a Brand Manager at 2U, I acted as a key custodian of the university brand to ensure guidelines are adhered to as well as meticulous attention to detail across all marketing content collateral. I developed brand and email strategies, communications plans as well as course maintenance plans to drive enrollment numbers of online short courses and consumer satisfaction with particular focus on email campaign strategy through key metrics (click-through rate, click to lead and repeat student rate) to make informed decisions.

Gaining Strategy Experience

As a Marketing Coordinator, I developed, executed and managed integrated marketing projects for internal stakeholders, liaised across marketing, communications and digital/online strategy teams, assisted with lead generation marketing campaigns for MBA and MS programs, helped develop the Smith School as a trailblazer in thought leadership, managed Office of Marketing Communications budget, and managed the earned media tracking system.


Managing Markets

As the Marketing Coordinator for the state of Hawaii, U was responsible for all marketing activity for the state. I developed the annual marketing strategy and plan, determined the district's budget (including paid ads) and managed the marketing for all locations in the state - which included the three largest locations in the country.

Getting My Start

As an Operations Coordinator at Teach For America - Hawaii, I gained experience managing budgets and forecasts, comms to internal and external audiences, as well as vendor contracts.
